“As many of you may know my true passion is painting. I have not been able to paint much the last 3 years as it was very difficult to set up and paint at new places and then try to transport a wet painting in the motorhome. I painted a little here and there, but now that i have a studio to paint in I am going to start painting more often. And of my first paintings in the new studio combined my One Shoe Diaries with my oil painting. I painted shoe #198. It was a red heel i discovered in Denver, CO this past year and all i had with me to photograph it was my phone :( Unhappy with the results of the photo I decided a great way to do it justice was to do a painting of it. So here it is, I would love to hear some feedback if people like it and if I should do more paintings of the shoes, or leave them as photographs?”
