PensacolaFood.com, the new venture

For some years now I have been thinking about doing an online restaurant guide for Pensacola. I had it originally named PensacolaMenus.com but I let the domain go after the hurricane, so i picked up PensacolaFood.com. I actually like the name better, because not every listing will have a menu.

One of the reasons we are creating it is because we have quite a few restaurants around the area we li9ke to eat at but they seem to be hurting for business and we want them to stay OPEN! So we have made it very affordable, possibly too inexpensive, but that is what I do. I dont have a good track record for big money making businesses. I tend to help people more than i should.

I built the site and have been getting it ready for its debut. We launched it just around a week ago and have currently 3 establishments signed up, but have a feeling it will go over pretty well from other responses.

So if you are reading this and from Pensacola area please help us get the word out. And for everyone I invite you to go to PensacolaFood.com target=”blank” and check it out, any tips, opinions or ideas, please let us know. We are new to this and it will continue to evolve.

    Hi Guys!
Saw your news clip tonight and found the shoe diaries so interesting I immediately hopped on my computer to check out the photos! Awesome concept from one artist(of sorts) to another! Following links, I ended up on your new PensacolaFood project site. I think it’s a wonderful idea! I have a couple of “foodie” daughters and we have toyed with this exact concept for our area but never got it off the ground for real life sucking up our time. Good luck with this, we think it’s just awesome and will continue to watch it evolve. Will submit any helpful ideas in the future as they occur to us! — Am going back to read more about you and hopefully learn more about what happened to Noah. Our condolensences for your loss, sincerely. We were fortunate as a family to have a baby miracle happen in 2006 with the extreme premature birth of our grandson at just 24 weeks gestation with the uterus having ruptured 4 weeks earlier. He was 1-lb.8oz. with a good heart and no lungs; not given good odds medically. Six months in our University NICU and 2 years of careful nuturing, and he is now perfect with ZERO disabilities; truly a miracle. Sorry, but I can’t help but share, perhaps giving others some hope. We just BELIEVE that miracles do happen. Will check on you guys later! Chow!

Thank you for the story, it is always great to hear tough situations have great outcomes. We are so happy for you. I hope noone ever has to lose a baby, but life happens. We have no control but can only hope every thing happens for a reason. Thanks also for the support for our project. I love hearing from people. After all as an artist it is always to hear good feedback. Happy Holidays!!
