Our new home

It has been over a month since we moved into our new home. We are very excited to have landed this place. It is a unique home that is still within the same neighborhood that we love so we can still see all of our great North Hill neighbors when we walk the dogs. Plus we got a great deal on it, it really is a buyer’s market.

This house has 3 legitimate bedrooms, whereas the other only had two. We have a real living room, and a bigger kitchen. All around it is a much better layout and larger. Nora’s room, which is still a work in progress, is a large room, perfect for lots of baby junk.

The backyard is going to be a big project, I want to make it similar to the backyard garden i had several years ago at a house in Gulf Breeze. I want it to be a lush tropical, japanese type garden, complete with a deck for entertaining and a koi pond. As i start work on it, I am going to document the progress on the blog, if not for anything else, but so we can see the before and after images.

I know this blog entry was not very exciting or interesting, I need to get back on the ball and start writing. Although at some point I need to take a hiatus from the blog and concentrate on getting Vol. 3 written and published!
