And this latest one I found really hammers a point home. Previously all the Crocs i found were boy Crocs, black, brown, spider man, flames and such. Well the latest, Shoe #286, was a little girl’s Croc. Complete with zebra striped fur lining and silk ankle strap.<\/p>\nI had just been thinking about the story of rushing to the ultrasound appointment this past week and all the funny stuff that happened that day. I wanted to include it in Volume 3, but had no shoe to associate the story with. I had all this going through my head as I drove down Cervantes St in Pensacola, wondering when the next shoe would pop up. And there it sat in an abandoned parking lot! I immediately rushed home and got the camera, almost too excited to explain to Sharon why I was rushing back out.<\/p>\n
Another thing that has been on our minds is whether or not the ultrasound tech was corect in our guess of it being a girl as I have read many instances where the sex has been incorrectly identified early in pregnancies. We were only at around 14 weeks which some say it takes until 18-20 weeks to positively identify sex. So that is another angle I look at when analyzing this shoe. Maybe it could be a sign that yes, in fact, we are having a girl.<\/p>\n
I took my time and took the best shot I could, wanting to make sure the viewer would be able to tell it was a little girl’s Croc. After getting the shot I got back in the van to be greeted by a dead battery. It would not start. I was too happy to care though, I walked to a tire shop next door and asked for help. They came to my aid and I was on my way home to document this wonderful find!<\/p>\n
This shoe is very significant to me as we just found out a few days ago we are having a girl. I have been wondering if it possible that even thought she is a girl, can it be Noah’s soul coming back to us? Does a soul have gender? Those questions will always remain unknown as far a physical proof goes. But after finding this shoe, it makes me ponder the question pretty hard. One thing is for sure it is just another in a series of unexplainable coincidences surrounding the Lost Soles I find. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
